    Camp NaNoWriMo Days 4 – 6

Day 4: Wednesday, April 4th 0 Words I woke up and went to work, like any other Wednesday. My back feels exponentially better, but I am still very stiff and sore; sitting for long periods of time is uncomfortable. I found out that a job I applied for wants to fly me out for an in-person interview in little more than a week. YAY! Bad news: they’re in Boston (a 6 hour flight one-way) and I’ll have to fly out and back in under 48 hours so as not to miss too much work. Looks like I’ll have to plan ahead and be ready to do some writing in the…

    Camp NaNoWriMo Days 1-3

Day 1: Sunday, April 1st (Easter Sunday) 2,541 words I woke up early to go to Easter breakfast with the husband’s family. I was already exhausted from the Mariner’s baseball game that we went to the day before; waking up early on a Sunday didn’t help with the sleepiness. We returned home from breakfast around 12pm to a bed full of a cat hairball, which required immediate laundering of the sheets and blankets. After starting the wash, I took a short nap. An hour later, my nap is over and I continued to procrastinate for hours by eating lunch, doing housework, and begging my husband to write my book for…
